Collingham Brook is a large residential development near Newark-On-Trent, made up of multiple differing phases. Taynton's Construction Manager, Jonty, acted as Contracts Manager on both phase 3A & 3B whilst working for Gusto Construction Ltd.

Phase 3A consisted of 21 properties varying in size from 1 bedroom terraced to 4 bedroom detached houses. A permeable block paved private road leads into the phase with a mixture of walled and fenced private gardens, detached garages & public landscaped areas. The properties themselves are of traditional construction with a mixture of red and buff brickwork, high quality timber windows and concrete interlocking roof tiles. Internally, the properties are finished to a high standard with mid range fixtures and fittings.

14 eco-homes make up phase 3B, with a mix of both 3 & 4 bed detached houses. Each property has a large quantity of photovoltaic panels on the roof, high quality triple glazed timber windows & doors and Recoup waste water heat recovery pipes. With 200mm fully filled cavity walls, 400mm loft roll within the roof void and triple glazing, these properties are easily heated by ceiling mounted infrared panels with no need for central heating or a boiler. The internals of these properties are also finished to a high standard with mid to high end fixtures and fittings.
